Lodging in and around Jackson Hole, Wyoming

There are many great lodging options in and around Jackson Hole. To make the best choice for your family or your group, you should know a little bit about the geography of Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole is a valley that is surrounded by mountain ranges, including the spectacular Grand Tetons to the west. Within the valley of Jackson Hole rests the towns of Jackson, Wilson, Kelly and Moose, and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village. Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are north of the town of Jackson.

The Town of Jackson
Jackson is the hub of most activities and is home to great art galleries, gift shops and restaurants. Lodging option in the town of Jackson include The Historic Wort Hotel, The Rustic Inn, and The Lexington at Jackson Hole.  You may choose options from a standard hotel room to a luxury suite to a cabin on the creek. There are also private homes to rent for larger families and groups that enjoy having a kitchen and private yard.

 

Teton Village and The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Teton Village, 12 miles from Jackson, is another hub within Jackson Hole which houses the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Here you will find a wide range of lodging options including hotels and spas, condos, cabins, and private homes.  This is a great area to stay to get away from town, especially if your focus is skiing during winter months. There are some great restaurants in Teton Village and a number of outdoor retail and gift shops.

 

Get out of town to a Guest Ranch
Outside the towns of Jackson and Teton Village are a number of beautiful guest ranches.
